Perfect place"
Nestled along an unpaved road, a mere 4.5 kilometers from Tris Iklesias, lies a hidden gem of a beach. This secluded spot is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, as you'll likely have the entire stretch of sand to yourself. While there are no taverns or showers to be found here, a few cozy apartments are available for those who wish to extend their stay. To reach the beach, you'll need to navigate a few rocky outcroppings, but fear not - a sturdy ladder awaits you at the bottom. This is a place where you can truly disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.
This charming and secluded beach boasts crystal clear waters that are perfect for snorkeling. Accessible by a regular car, it's a breeze to get there and enjoy the natural beauty. However, the unsightly building situated above the eastern wall of the cove detracts from the overall experience, leaving a slightly sour taste in one's mouth.
The Thetis island situated towards the southwest of the beach adds an extra element of excitement for freedivers. The area surrounding the island and stretching towards the shore is a fascinating spot to explore. The sea near the island is a maximum of 10m deep, making it an ideal location for divers of all levels. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even step onto the island, but do so with caution. The rocks are not too sharp, making it a safe option to explore. To reach the small bay, you can walk down the steep terrain located 300m before the Voidomatis beach, where there is ample parking space. The small patch of pebble beach at the bay is a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The next bay has a similar beach, but what sets it apart is the presence of large rocks and boulders that are perfect for climbing and walking on. The light-colored limestone rocks don't get too hot in the summer, so you can walk barefoot and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
This beach is absolutely stunning, but unfortunately it can be a bit challenging to access due to the lack of convenient parking options. Additionally, it may not be the best choice for families with young children, as the journey to get there can be a bit treacherous and potentially dangerous for little ones. It's important to exercise caution and be mindful of your surroundings if you do decide to visit this beach.
