Kato Kiriako is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 274th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 164.8 km away from its center, the city of Mytilene. It is one of the beaches of Ireo settlement, just 3.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Parking is located directly on the beach.
