Paralia Pithagorio is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 41th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 160.4 km away from its center, the city of Mytilene. It is one of the beaches of Potokaki settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with green pure water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. This beach is absolutely amazing! The water is so clear, you can see all the way to the bottom. The sand is soft and feels great between your toes. You can even catch a glimpse of the magnificent Lykourgos Logothetis Castle from here. The water sports offered by Giorgos are a blast and won't break the bank. If you're looking for a place to relax, I highly recommend checking out Verano Beach Bar. They provide free sunbeds with plush cushions and top-notch service.
