The beach was absolutely stunning! We embarked on a guided kayak excursion to explore the neighboring shores and ultimately returned to this breathtaking location. The crystal-clear water was a mesmerizing shade of deep turquoise that left us in awe. We also stopped by the beach bar and although there were other individuals present, it was not overly crowded.
The shoreline is quite pleasant, and the crystal-clear water is truly remarkable. During my visit, I noticed just one bar and vendor, who charged 20€ for a set of beach seats and any refreshments or snacks you may require. If you're on a tight budget, it's best to bring your own supplies if you plan on staying for a while. Although there were some waves, they were manageable, and my visit occurred on a calm day.
Milos Beach wasn't exactly my cup of tea. It's a commercialized spot where I had to shell out 40 euros just to rent beach chairs and an umbrella. To add insult to injury, the food and cocktails were exorbitantly priced and the service left a lot to be desired. I'd suggest seeking out other beaches where you can bring your own gear and avoid lining the pockets of greedy owners who care more about profit than providing quality service.
The beach is absolutely stunning with its crystal-clear blue water and immaculate cleanliness. While I am not one to typically write reviews about beaches, I felt compelled to do so after reading negative comments about the beach bar prices. It is important to note that Milos is an island, and prices can be expected to be higher in general. However, I cannot help but wonder if those complaining would change their opinions if they witnessed the tremendous effort put forth by the bar employees to transport and stock their supplies. I watched as a small boat made multiple trips to deliver crates of water, wine, soda, and other beverages. The employees worked tirelessly to transfer the supplies into storage, and I can only imagine the effort required for food delivery. As I sit here ordering my son's $10 chicken nuggets, I understand that bringing your own snacks and drinks is always an option. In the end, the beauty of the beach and the hard work of the employees make any potential price concerns insignificant.
