Nisos Peristera beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 306th place out of 348 beaches in the Thessaly region 143.5 km away from its center, the city of Larissa. It is one of the beaches of Kalamakia settlement, just 4.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
