Chavouli beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 14th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 137.9 km away from its center, the city of Mytilene. It is one of the beaches of Moudros settlement, just 3.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Chavouli beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Additionally, there is a beach bar where you can enjoy without any additional cost for umbrellas and deck chairs, as long as you make a purchase. However, reaching the beach from Moudros can be a bit challenging for those who are not used to driving on partially unpaved roads. Furthermore, since the island lacks public transportation, getting there can be a bit tricky. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend visiting this beach due to its incredibly clear waters.

Our preferred beach on Lemnos island is spacious, with a sizable shoreline and crystal-clear water, complemented by fine sand. The gravel road leading to the beach is relatively smooth, making it easily accessible. The beach bar is decent, offering amenities such as a beach volleyball court and satisfactory snacks. However, the restroom facilities are below par. The prices at the beach bar are reasonable, which is consistent with the affordability found throughout Lemnos. In summary, we would rate the beach with five stars and the beach bar with three stars.
