Paralia Skidi is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 79th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 134.4 km away from its center, the city of Mytilene. It is one of the beaches of Agia Sophia settlement, just 3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Paralia Skidi coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Parking is located directly on the beach.

The beach is absolutely delightful and peaceful. The presence of trees offers a pleasant shade, while lilies are scattered all around the beach. However, the only drawback is the dirt road, although it is still manageable to pass through.

The beach is pleasant, and the road leading to it is in better condition compared to the untouched sea. The water is a little chilly, and there aren't many visitors. However, the beaches are of good quality.

The beach is covered in soft sand and the water is peaceful. Tamarisk trees provide shade, and there is a drinking water source at the southern part of the beach. Although there are signs of housing estates nearby, the natural environment remains untouched. It is a great spot for camping, and it is important to be considerate of the locals who deserve their own space and shade.

Our car is quite low, making it challenging to navigate the long and rough dirt road leading to the beach. We encountered some difficulties reaching our destination due to this. Additionally, the Beach Bar at the beach was quite small, and the windy conditions added to the overall experience of the small beach.
