It is one of the beaches of Agia Sophia settlement, just 3.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. Parthenomytos stands out as one of the grandest and most secluded beaches in Lemnos, owing to its challenging accessibility. This pristine shoreline, aptly named after the Greek word for virgin, boasts an untamed charm with its mix of sand and pebbles. It is advisable to carry sufficient supplies like water, food, and an umbrella, especially if you plan on spending extended hours basking in the sun. For those with tall cars, the best dirt road to take is the one that branches off from Agia Sofia, a village located in the southeast of Lemnos, and can be reached in just 20 minutes by car.

The beach is exquisite, with a serene and tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. The sea is pristine and crystal clear, making it ideal for swimming and other water activities. The sandy beach is truly stunning, with its soft and powdery texture that is a delight to walk on. However, it is important to note that the quickest route to the beach is only accessible by serious 4x4 vehicles, so it is advisable to take the slightly longer route from the west. This route is still accessible and leads to a breathtaking view of the sandy beach from above.
