It is one of the beaches of Kephales settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

On August 15, 2023, I didn't come across any people at the beach. The road leading to it is in terrible condition, so if you decide to take the right turn, exercise caution. The road is damaged, with sections missing and abruptly ending. Apart from the beach, there is nothing else in Thera. However, if you continue driving back the way you came after encountering the broken road on the right, you'll find a spot suitable for kite surfing.
