Mandra beach is located on the Thrace Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 100th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 36.7 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Lefkipos settlement, just 3.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The beach is lovely and has shallow water. If you're interested in seeing underwater life, feel free to bring your goggles and snorkel. Convenient parking spots are available right next to the beach. The coastline is quite extensive and offers private spots as well.
