Glastres beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 53th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 91.4 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Paleo settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Glastres beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, changing rooms, showers. .

This gorgeous, expansive beach is conveniently located near Kavala city, offering ample parking for visitors. With only a handful of establishments dotting the shoreline, guests are free to bring their own tents and umbrellas for a personalized beach experience. While the majority of the beach is rocky, there are safe entry points to the calm and crystal-clear waters. During our visit, we were delighted to spot a few massive jellyfish - a treat for marine life enthusiasts, but potentially unsettling for younger beach-goers.
