This beach is not only terrible, but also a dreadful vacation destination. Numerous requests were made to the government of Korfos and Corinth regarding the issue of sick or injured dogs, but they consistently refused to take any action. As an American with a residence in Korfos, Greece, I am deeply shocked and disgusted. It is worth noting that the president of Korfos is also the owner of the beach bar, so I strongly advise against supporting this individual financially. They should be held accountable for their wrongdoing.
The beach is below average, with gravel instead of pebbles. The water is frequently dirty, with bubbles visible on the surface, and tends to be quite cold. The seabed is unappealing, and there is a possibility of stepping on a sea urchin and getting injured.
The beach offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with exceptional service and delectable food. Don't miss the opportunity to savor their diverse range of incredibly fresh fish, delivered daily. I find myself returning to this place day after day, and I highly recommend giving it a try!
It's a pleasant spot, but the beach is quite rocky and teeming with numerous sea urchins.
I have been to some incredibly stunning beaches, like the ones in Sydney and the pristine white sand islands in Indonesia. However, even though those beaches were amazing, there was always the concern of dealing with large waves or underwater corals. Korfos beach, on the other hand, is a pebble beach that stretches along the entire bay, offering crystal clear water that is perfect for swimming. There are public areas available, and the remainder of the beach is divided among several tavernas that provide loungers if you purchase a drink or two. It's an ideal spot.
