The Agia Marina beach boasts a beautiful expanse of sand, perfect for families with children who want ample space to play and enjoy the shallow waters. Despite its proximity to the inhabited area, the beach and its waters are impeccably clean. However, during the peak season in August, the beach can get quite crowded, and visitors may need to pay to rent a seabed at most of the beach bars. Fortunately, there are plenty of dining and refreshment options available, with a variety of restaurants and beach bars to choose from.
Although the beach has a well-maintained, spacious layout with sand both in and out of the water, the water itself is shallow and requires a lengthy walk to reach deeper areas. While the morning offers a stunning sunrise and serene, transparent waters, the afternoon brings algae growth, cloudiness, and choppier waves. However, there are some charming, secluded coves located just beyond the main beach that are tidy and inviting. 😉😊
The shoreline is absolutely stunning, however, the water depth is not to my liking as it appears to be too shallow.
Unless you have children, there's no need to visit this beach. The water is shallow, making it easy to keep an eye on them.
The beach is pleasant, secure, and cozy.
