Paralia Marathona II is located on the Saronic Gulf (part of Aegean Sea) and it is in the 28th place out of 409 beaches in the Attica region 37.9 km away from its center, the city of Athens. It is one of the beaches of Pachia Rachi settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a small bay with green pure water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Paralia Marathona II coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Although the beach may appear picturesque for a photo opportunity, it may not be the most ideal location for swimming due to its unclean appearance. However, there are certainly superior options available on the island.

This beach has a pristine shoreline with crystal-clear waters that are shallow enough for a refreshing dip. As you wade into the sea, a school of fish will swim around your feet, creating a magical experience. I decided to rent a chair for a mere €6 and spent a delightful afternoon soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings.

Aegina boasts one of the most breathtaking beaches you'll ever lay eyes on. However, even amidst the pandemic, it can get quite crowded. The sunbeds are a bit pricey, but you can take advantage of the beach bar, showers, and toilets. You'll love the sandy shore with minimal rocks, meaning you can leave your beach shoes at home. Plus, you're only a 10-minute stroll away from some excellent tavernas.

During my visit to the beach, I spent my afternoon lounging in front of the Bocampo Beach Bar. Luckily, the beach was not too crowded during that time. I paid 7 euros for an umbrella and two sunbeds, and also ordered a refreshing drink for a total of about 20 euros. The service was satisfactory, and the sunbeds were quite comfortable with thick mattresses. However, they were a bit difficult to maneuver. The view in front of the beach was stunning and added to the overall experience.
