The beach was decent, but it didn't quite reach the level of being exceptional. However, we did appreciate the beautiful sunset.
Oh, what a stunning seaside spot! Athens boasts of a massive beach that brims with crystal-clear water and a delightful hue that will leave you in awe. And if you're worried about getting hungry or thirsty, fret not, for there are cafes and restaurants aplenty in the vicinity. All you need to do is bask in the glory of the sea and let your worries drift away.
The bay surrounding the beach boasts stunning scenery, making it a must-visit destination. However, the beach itself is somewhat marred by litter left behind by visitors, particularly cigarette butts. Additionally, the pebble beach is made up of thin pebbles that can be bothersome to walk on. Despite this, the beach is well-organized and offers a handful of coffee bars with comfortable sunbeds.
The beach is a lovely spot, but it can get quite busy during the summer, particularly on weekends. Along the shoreline, you'll find a collection of beach bars and tavernas, which are typically open throughout the summer months. However, it's worth noting that the road leading to the beach from Alepochori is known to be susceptible to rockfalls, so exercise caution. Additionally, there have been sightings of jellyfish in the Gulf of Corinth over the past couple of years, so it's worth checking ahead to see if there are any current issues.
The beach is absolutely lovely and has pebbles. Additionally, there are some really nice bars and taverns nearby.
