Akti Iliou is located on the Saronic Gulf (part of Aegean Sea) and it is in the 97th place out of 409 beaches in the Attica region 8.6 km away from its center, the city of Atenas. It is one of the beaches of Alimos settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with green water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Akti Iliou coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, toilets. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. The beach offers stunning amenities that are maintained immaculately. The cost of admission is a mere 8€ per individual, with an additional 4€ fee for renting an umbrella and sunbed. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.

The beach offers a pleasant ambiance with a delightful atmosphere that is sure to put you in a relaxed state of mind. The bar and restaurant offer excellent service that is sure to leave you satisfied. However, accessing the beach comes with a fee of 8 euros, and if you wish to enjoy the comfort of an umbrella, you will need to pay an additional fee that varies depending on your preferred spot.

Moreover, the inflatable water park is an absolute blast for both children and adults alike, providing endless entertainment and excitement.

The beach was indeed beautiful, but my experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. Despite it being a Tuesday in October, the beach was still quite busy, leaving little room for solitude and relaxation. The clear sea was a small consolation, but the water was not as warm as I had expected, making it a less-than-perfect day out.

Access is limited to weekdays only, but there are no additional fees for sunbeds or umbrellas.
