According to our experience and other reviews, yesterday's heavy rain and wind left the beach muddy and full of seaweed. It's best to consider visiting other beaches instead. While the walking area is pleasant, the mud makes it difficult to see the sea.
To get to the beach, you can drive there, but the last part of the road is narrow and steep. Only one car can pass through, unless you have a 4WD with high suspension. We had to drive downhill in reverse to let another car pass because a car got stuck on the side. When we arrived at the beach, we noticed that it was covered in seaweed and algae, and had an unpleasant smell. However, if you walk to the right side, you can wade through the water and over some rocks to reach a nicer spot with cleaner water. Despite the challenging journey, the hike to Plage du Fazzio is definitely worth it.
After exploring a few picturesque beaches, we decided to check out the one closest to our hotel, which was also highlighted on Google Maps. However, I must say that I cannot recommend it at all. The only way to access the beach is via a narrow and steep street that is too small for two cars to pass. We encountered a few cars on our way down and had a close call trying to avoid them. Moreover, the road is flanked by deep ditches, making it unsuitable for small cars. As for the beach itself, it was not particularly impressive. To get into the water, we had to walk over a soft and smelly ground, and the unpleasant odor lingered even while we were sitting on the beach. The area was also infested with bees, which made it impossible to relax and enjoy the scenery. All in all, our experience was far from positive, and we would not recommend this beach, especially since there are much nicer ones in the vicinity.
The beach is quite unpleasant due to the abundance of seaweed. One has to navigate through a path of seaweed to access the water, making it quite inconvenient. I would not suggest visiting this beach.
After walking from Bonifacio to the beach, we were let down by what we found. The beach was completely covered in seaweed and had an unpleasant smell, which made us leave soon after arriving. Despite this, it seems to be a lovely cove for boats to anchor and for swimmers to enjoy the bay.
