Bonifacio - all beaches

The water is crystal clear and you can take a stunning photo on the pontoon with the horizon in the background. It's a shame that the Guinguette is closed in October and there aren't many people around during low season.

This beach is conveniently located between the windsurf school and the "petit sperone beach". Swimming to Piana Island from here is a breeze.

This beach is absolutely amazing! I rarely give 5 stars, but this beach definitely deserves them. The water is clean and has a beautiful color. It's a bit chilly at first, but once you get in, it starts to warm up. Occasionally, it can get a little windy, but not too much. There aren't many people on the beach, which is great. The only issue is the lack of parking. There are some spaces available on the street, maybe around 20, but it's a bit risky. We parked there without seeing any "no parking" signs, so we weren't sure if it was allowed. If you continue straight, you'll get closer to the beach, but the road becomes very bumpy for about 500 meters. However, there is free parking for a maximum of 12 cars after that (I counted, and it was full today). From the parking area, there is a 10-minute walk to the beach. If you park on the street, it's about a 15-minute walk. But let me tell you, it's definitely worth it!

The beach with stunning natural scenery

There was a high volume of visitors during the peak of summer in August.

As of the end of August 2021, the condition of the dirt road leading to the beach has deteriorated compared to 2018, especially near the first of the four car parks. It is still possible to drive on it with a regular car, but caution is advised. To reach the beach, take the well-maintained dirt road from the national road (although it may have changed since 2018). Along the road, you will come across four parking areas one after the other. From the fourth parking area, a short walk will lead you to the beautiful cove. If you prefer a quieter spot, you can explore other coves along the path. Access to the sea is also available from the other three parking areas, offering different options for those staying in the area for a few days. The A Testa peninsula is a paradise for true sea enthusiasts, with shallow waters suitable for inexperienced swimmers and sheltered spots for all wind conditions. For a unique experience, consider kayaking or using a sit-on-top to explore the sea. There are no amenities nearby, so remember to bring water, supplies, and sun protection for a day at the beach. I recommend taking a leisurely walk along the path to discover other hidden coves and beaches on the peninsula. While access to the sea is easy for families with children, it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
