Tizzano beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 16th place out of 255 beaches in the South Corsica region 44.5 km away from its center, the city of Ajaccio. It is one of the beaches of Tizzano settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This beach is just as impressive as the others I've visited. The parking is convenient, it's not too crowded, and it's a great spot for snorkeling. Plus, there's a restaurant nearby.

The beach is quite good, with lovely sand and not too many people around. However, it can get quite windy, so it's important to check the weather if you plan on kayaking. We had a tough time due to the strong winds.

The beach in front of the hotel and restaurant was pleasant, although I wasn't too thrilled with the restaurant. It was clean and not too crowded in September. We found Sartène and Tizzano to be less touristy than the beaches towards Bonifacio, which gave it a more authentic vibe. It seemed to be mostly retirees and fellow travelers in September, with fewer children around due to school being in session.
