Playa Columpio Portillo

I had a fantastic experience at Bahia Principe El Portillo. The food was delicious, the beach was stunning, and the location was perfect. My only issue was that the hotel was quite crowded, which made the buffet and pool area a bit chaotic at times, resulting in slower service. However, the staff remained friendly and accommodating despite the large number of guests. I would recommend avoiding the buffet-style Brazilian a la carte option, as we were disappointed with it. On the other hand, the buffet had a wide variety of food that was enjoyable. It seemed like the majority of guests were older couples and families with children, so it's not a place for partying.

The hotel is absolutely stunning! The beach is conveniently located nearby and offers a plethora of lounge chairs and bars within close proximity. The food is incredibly tasty and there is an abundance of options available for snacking throughout the day. The bedroom was extremely comfortable, although the air conditioning could have been better for the hot summer days. The activities and entertainment staff were enjoyable and ensured that everyone had a great time. If you experience any stomach issues, simply inform the staff and they will provide assistance and communicate with the kitchen staff accordingly.

Grand Bahia El Portillo in Samana has exceeded all expectations. Having visited numerous Gran Bahia resorts throughout the Caribbean, I can confidently say that this hidden gem is the epitome of beauty and impressiveness. The staff goes above and beyond, the buffet offers delectable cuisine that caters to every palate, and the addition of a tennis court is a fantastic amenity. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Victor from the entertainment staff, as well as acknowledge the exceptional service provided by the waitresses on the outside terrace. They were incredibly attentive to my preferences and always eager to please. Although it is difficult to say goodbye, I am ecstatic to have discovered this remarkable destination and eagerly anticipate my next visit.

We had a fantastic week-long getaway with the kids in June. The food and drinks were excellent, and the beach was absolutely stunning. There were plenty of fish to observe, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The Aqua Park was also a big hit, providing lots of fun for the little ones. The rooms were well taken care of and equipped with everything we required. The staff members were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. All in all, it was an amazing vacation! ❤️❤️❤️
