Playa Juragua is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 7th place out of 17 beaches in the Santiago de Cuba region 18.7 km away from its center, the city of Santiago de Cuba. It is one of the beaches of Playa Juragua settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The beach is absolutely enchanting, with a protected bay perfect for swimming among the corals and spotting all sorts of tropical fish. Additionally, you can often see local fishermen returning from their underwater expeditions, and purchase some freshly caught fish or lobster. The golden fine sand only adds to the beauty of this amazing spot.
