Playa Larga is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 17th place out of 17 beaches in the Santiago de Cuba region 30.9 km away from its center, the city of Santiago de Cuba. It is one of the beaches of El Verraco settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Playa Larga coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.
