Cayo Santa Maria V beach

Just arrived home from our fifth visit to this resort, and we used to absolutely adore it. The food was fantastic (considering it's Cuba), there was entertainment every evening, and the staff were absolutely incredible. However, this time around, things were quite different. The buffet was closed, leaving us with hardly any food options. We survived on ham and tuna sandwiches. The place was infested with tiny flies that completely covered my fiancé and me, resulting in hundreds of itchy bites. We were famished. Unfortunately, the resort's bank was closed, so we couldn't exchange our money. Only one restaurant was open for dinner, and all other meals were served at the snack bar. I highly recommend checking out the resort next door, the Paradises. We spent a day there, and the experience was truly exceptional. It pains me to say that the Valentin Perla Blanca has significantly declined. We even reached out to the management about our non-functioning toilets, the lack of toilet paper (we were given tissues instead), and the absence of hot water for showers. However, they seemed disinterested in assisting us. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

This is my first time visiting Cuba and I am absolutely amazed. Even though it is the slow season, I had an incredible experience. The beach here is by far the best compared to other countries I have visited. Despite the lack of people, they still offer great amenities, entertainment, and delicious lunches. The bartenders and servers are top-notch, as well as the concierge service. There is only one restaurant open for dinner, but they also have a poolside snack bar. The nightly entertainment in the lobby with dancers and music, along with the friendly bartenders, always made for a good time. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring bug spray and ended up getting bitten all over. However, the on-site doctor was there every day to help me out with injections and cream to relieve the itchiness that kept me awake at night. I am truly speechless about my first experience at Valentin Perla Blanca in Cuba, and I can't wait to come back. (5*)

This place is the best! Even though I arrived early in the morning, the reception team warmly welcomed me and bellboy Andrés escorted me to my room, who, in my opinion, is one of the best. The beach is absolutely stunning and the food is delicious. The chambermaid is also very friendly. I highly recommend this place, I had an amazing time.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and taken to the Elegance Lounge, where we were provided with all the necessary amenities after upgrading to the Elegance package. The lounge offered premium drinks, snacks, and was well air-conditioned. Additionally, they had a pool table and a variety of coffee drinks available. The rooms were absolutely stunning, especially the ocean view room we had requested, which provided an incredibly breathtaking and secluded atmosphere. The beach itself was absolutely amazing, stretching for kilometers and offering a range of options, whether you desired a quiet, private, or lively atmosphere. Along the beach, there were a few beach bars and a grill that served delicious lunches. The à-la-carte restaurants provided excellent meals and the service was exceptional. The buffets were equally fantastic, if not even better! The massages were incredibly relaxing and truly the best. The poolside activities ensured that we were always entertained, and the drinks were constantly flowing. I can't wait to return to this resort. We miss so many of the staff members, as we formed great friendships and felt like we gained new family members. Yamilet, my dear, I miss you so much and I'm eagerly anticipating our next meeting. Once again, we had no complaints or concerns during our trip, and the most outstanding aspect of this resort is the exceptional staff throughout. xoxoxox

Valentin Perla Blanca is an exquisite resort situated on one of the most stunning beaches I have ever laid eyes on. The staff is absolutely incredible and goes above and beyond to ensure your trip is truly memorable. I am eagerly looking forward to returning for another vacation later this year.
