Playa Megano is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 1th place out of 9 beaches in the Havana region 17.3 km away from its center, the city of Havana. It is one of the beaches of Minas del Petroleo settlement, just 2.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa Megano coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

This stunning beach boasts pristine sandy shores and breathtaking vistas. For a small fee of 700 Cuban pesos per person, you can relax in comfort on sunbeds while enjoying delectable food served right to your spot. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also rent a pedal bike, banana boat, or sailboat ride for around 300 Cuban pesos. The temperature in January is a balmy 30°C, with temperatures rising to a scorching 40-50°C in August. I highly recommend this beach, located just a stone's throw away from Varadero. Let's keep this beach beautiful by not leaving any litter behind - it was spotless during my last visit ❤🇨🇺☀️.
