It was a fantastic location for my wedding back in 2010. Everything was absolutely flawless.
Unfortunately, this beach recently experienced a fire and is currently closed with no indication of when it will reopen.
This review is specifically about the beach itself, excluding any mention of the resort or hotel as I did not stay there. My photos will provide evidence of the breathtaking beauty this place can offer, but regrettably, it is one of the most polluted beaches I have ever come across. Plastic, trash, beer cans, and various other items are strewn all over the area. Towards the eastern end of the beach, there is a camping site where people irresponsibly treat the beach as their personal garbage dump. It is my sincere hope that the Cuban government takes action to address this issue, considering the beach's immense potential for beauty and its proximity to Havana. It is truly disheartening, to say the least.
This place was absolutely incredible! It boasts a fantastic freshwater pool, and the large pool was truly enjoyable! The beach adjacent to the resort is fantastic, and the best part is the incredibly friendly and kind employees. They are genuinely the nicest people I have ever encountered. Additionally, the restaurant on-site serves delicious food. The cleaning services are top-notch, and the villa's interior is superb.
The food was terrible, there was no WiFi, and the customer service was really bad.
