Playa Jibacoa is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 2th place out of 6 beaches in the Mayabeque region 36.2 km away from its center, the city of San Jose de las Lajas. It is one of the beaches of Playa Jibacoa settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa Jibacoa coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

This review is specifically about the beach itself, excluding any mention of the resort or hotel as I did not stay there. My photos will provide evidence of the breathtaking beauty this place can offer, but regrettably, it is one of the most polluted beaches I have ever come across. Plastic, trash, beer cans, and various other items are strewn all over the area. Towards the eastern end of the beach, there is a camping site where people irresponsibly treat the beach as their personal garbage dump. It is my sincere hope that the Cuban government takes action to address this issue, considering the beach's immense potential for beauty and its proximity to Havana. It is truly disheartening, to say the least.

This place was absolutely incredible! It boasts a fantastic freshwater pool, and the large pool was truly enjoyable! The beach adjacent to the resort is fantastic, and the best part is the incredibly friendly and kind employees. They are genuinely the nicest people I have ever encountered. Additionally, the restaurant on-site serves delicious food. The cleaning services are top-notch, and the villa's interior is superb.
