Plaza Ovrata is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 112th place out of 215 beaches in the Dubrovnik-Neretva region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Plaza Ovrata coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

This cozy pebble beach may have chilly waters, but its serene atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. With a handful of trees providing shade for roughly ten sunbathers, it's easy to find a peaceful spot to lounge. However, the tranquility can be disturbed by the arrival of a few inconsiderate Polish families with raucous children and inflatable flamingos. It's important to note that dogs are not permitted on the beach. But, there's a silver lining - a quaint little house above the beach sells local olive oil, wine, and travarica for those seeking a taste of the region.

The water at this small pebble beach is quite chilly, but there are trees scattered around that provide shade for approximately 10 areas. It's usually a peaceful and serene spot, but unfortunately, the tranquility can be disrupted by a few inconsiderate Polish families with their loud children and obnoxious inflatable flamingos. It's important to note that dogs are not permitted on the beach. Additionally, there's a little house nearby where you can purchase some local olive oil, wine, and travarica.

Pratnice, not Ovrata, is a picturesque beach that is simply perfect for couples and families with young children. The crystal-clear waters are absolutely divine, inviting you to take a refreshing dip and bask in the sun's warm rays. Additionally, there are local vendors nearby where you can purchase some of the finest olive oil, rakija, and travarica, adding a touch of authenticity to your beach experience.
