Ah, the beach - where the sand is so hot, it's a wonder it hasn't turned into glass yet! But fear not, for the sea is shallow and warm, inviting you to take a dip and cool off. And if you're feeling adventurous, take a stroll from the harbour to really take in the beauty of the place. Just make sure you're not melting in the heat, because that golf cart ride is worth every penny. And speaking of pennies, bring cash for the sunbeds, loungers, and parasols. But hey, at least the bar takes card. Cheers to a beach day well spent!
This beach boasts a stunning expanse of soft sand and crystal-clear blue water, complete with an iconic Instagram swing perfect for photo ops. To get there, we hopped on a ferry from Dubrovnik to Lopud for just €4 each way. Upon arrival, we followed a path up a slight hill to the Taxi area, where we were able to catch a ride in a golf cart to the other side of Lopud for a reasonable 20 Kuna per person each way (about €5 for two people). The beach itself offers plenty of lounge chairs and bars, with prices that are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. Overall, the swim and views make it a worthwhile destination.
This stunning beach boasts crystal-clear waters and a protected swimming area, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing day by the sea. During the day, several tour boats anchor here, all arriving at the same time to take in the beauty of this natural wonder. While there is a nominal fee to rent beach chairs, it is well worth the cost for the comfort and convenience they provide. For those looking to grab a bite to eat, there are a couple of restaurants located right on the beach. If arriving by boat, be sure to bring sandals as the sand can get quite hot during the summer months.
This beach is definitely worth the short golf cart ride for just a couple of kuna. Although, it's a shame that you have to pay for sunbeds. However, the crystal clear water is perfect for a refreshing swim. Despite the fair amount of visitors, it never felt too crowded. The distance from the main town certainly contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend adding this beach to your itinerary when visiting the island.
This secluded spot is definitely worth the short walk through the forested road. It's best to arrive early to fully enjoy it. There are beach bars where you can rent lounge chairs. If you're not up for the walk, you can take a golf cart taxi for a small fee.
