The beach on the island was a pleasant surprise, offering the same beauty and charm as any other beach in the area. The water was crystal clear and inviting, with a small and refreshing cave to swim in. Accessing the beach was possible by car, though the 3km dirt road may pose a challenge. Alternatively, arriving by boat is an option. For those up for a bit of adventure, a 15-minute swim to the small and idyllic Pritišćina beach is highly recommended. Though the journey may take 20 minutes on a dirt road, the reward is well worth it. If you have the opportunity, make sure to visit this hidden gem.
Undoubtedly, this beach is one of the most mesmerizing spots on the island. However, accessing it is quite challenging due to the gravel road, and I suggest avoiding this place if you have a new or low car. An SUV would be a better option to navigate the terrain.
This pebble beach boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters and is undoubtedly among my top favorites on the island of Vis. What's even better is that it's not overrun with tourists, so you may even have it all to yourself if you're lucky. Although the road leading to the beach is not the smoothest, it's still accessible by car. Just be sure to park along the road after the last right turn, as the final stretch is quite steep and bumpy. Keep in mind that there are no bars or restaurants on the beach, so it's best to bring your own food and drinks.
The journey down the dusty road may take a mere 15 minutes, but the destination is nothing short of paradise. The pristine waters are crystal clear, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape and the intricate rock formations that dot the beach. Venture just a short swim away and you'll discover a secluded cove, untouched by commercialization and surrounded by the beauty of nature. Keep in mind, there are no restaurants in the area, so it's best to bring your own refreshments to fully enjoy this hidden gem.
The beach is a serene and picturesque location, albeit a bit of a drive on an unpaved road. However, the breathtaking scenery and the pristine, transparent waters make the journey well worth it. Thumbs up all around!
