Mali Zaton II beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 94th place out of 216 beaches in the Zadar region 41.3 km away from its center, the city of Zadar. It is one of the beaches of Basaca settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Mali Zaton II beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling.

To get to the beach, you need to walk along a mountain trail more than 1km long. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

As a travel enthusiast, I am excited to share some insights on how to reach this hidden gem, as I noticed a lack of information on this topic during my visit. Upon parking your vehicle, simply follow the black posts resembling a gate. After a short walk of about 100 meters, you will encounter the first right turn, which gently ascends. While it is possible to drive to the location, parking space is limited to a few cars. Look out for a prominent boulder on the right side, as the trail to the stone circle and beach begins from there. The path is well-marked with points, and I have included some photos for reference below.
