Porat beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 7th place out of 216 beaches in the Zadar region 35.6 km away from its center, the city of Zadar. It is one of the beaches of Drage settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Porat beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children.

That place is truly incredible, but the crowds of tourists and the inconvenience of having to pay for parking in an unattractive lot detract from the experience.
