Surbova beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 103th place out of 315 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region 47.2 km away from its center, the city of Rijeka. It is one of the beaches of Stara Baska settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and white pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Surbova beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The road leading to the beach is closed off to cars, so it's important for visitors to respect that. However, a short walk of 10-20 minutes from the parking lot of Zala beach (which offers public free entry) will bring you to this hidden gem. It's worth the effort to get there!
