Plaza Risika is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 182th place out of 315 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region 30.5 km away from its center, the city of Fiume. It is one of the beaches of Risika settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Plaza Risika coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

This beach is perfect for families with young kids and is the sole one on Krk Island that boasts natural sand. You can park your car securely for a reasonable fee of 3 euros for the entire day. Although dogs are not allowed on the beach, you can take them to the Javno beach, which is only 2 km away from Vrbnik. The four cafes and restaurants by the shore offer a variety of food, drinks, and ice cream. While there isn't much shade, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as pedal boats and jet-skis to enjoy the water.

The pristine beach of Risika is a haven for those seeking solitude as it is sparsely populated. However, it is important to note that the stretch from Risika sv.Marak to Vrbnik is home to several underground freshwater sources that flow into the sea. Additionally, there are numerous underwater caves that should be avoided as the water temperature can drop to a chilly +2 Celsius. Despite these natural wonders, the water remains crystal clear and I am absolutely enamored with this location.
