Veli Zal II beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 30th place out of 315 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region 88.2 km away from its center, the city of Rijeka. It is one of the beaches of Mali Losinj settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach is an amazing spot with friendly staff, a unique atmosphere, and a wide variety of reasonably priced drinks. It's even affordable, and they also serve delicious burgers and fries, allowing you to relax all day while your kids have fun in the ocean! As of 2022, it remains a fantastic and affordable place, and their homemade peach-flavored ice tea is a must-try.
