That place was truly disappointing. We arrived late at night with the sole intention of getting some rest, but unfortunately, it was incredibly windy with powerful gusts. To our dismay, everything was closed, including the lack of toilet facilities, water, and showers. Adding insult to injury, a local individual approached us and demanded money. Regrettably, we ended up paying 20 euros for absolutely nothing. I would strongly advise against visiting that place!
Upon our arrival, we found the beach to be pleasantly uncrowded, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the weather. If you fancy a swim, the option is readily available, and there is also a small restaurant/bar and restroom facilities, providing everything necessary for a few hours of leisurely enjoyment.
This is a fantastic spot for families with dogs. The ocean water remains pristine and invigorating thanks to the presence of cold springs.
It's a lovely spot, but it's more suited for those who enjoy the company of dogs or aren't keen on swimming. There's a creek originating from the nearby mountain, and the water in that area is quite chilly. The bar has a nice appearance, but we didn't spend much time there because we wanted to make the most of the water too! Therefore, we decided to drive just 20 minutes north to Monty dog beach in Crikvenica, which, in our humble opinion, is the best one.
This beach is an amazing place, especially for dog owners. Although it lacks extensive facilities, it is a natural paradise. There is a friendly man who offers lunch and evening entertainment on weekends. Don't be discouraged by the rough road leading to the beach; it is easily drivable with your car.
