The park is absolutely stunning. There is a parking fee of $3 USD, and the entrance fee is typically around $5 USD per person, which is considered a donation. It's important to note that bringing food or snorkel gear is not allowed, as they will check your bags. If you wish to snorkel, it is mandatory to go with a guide. Although it was a bit disappointing since we brought our own gear, it wasn't a major issue. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the beach, in the water, and taking walks along the trail. The beach and water were incredibly beautiful. We even had the pleasure of encountering a charming mother raccoon with her two adorable babies, who were convinced we had food and conducted their own search of our bag. Additionally, we spotted several monkeys. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
The national park is absolutely stunning! We took a snorkeling trip with a guy named Kerny, guided by King. It only took us 20 minutes on the boat to reach our snorkeling spot. We had an amazing hour of snorkeling and saw a wide variety of fish, a nurse shark, and a small manta ray. After snorkeling, King dropped us off at the halfway point of the national park. Although it wasn't necessary, we had arranged for a guide to meet us there and lead us back to our car. I'm really glad we made that choice because we would have missed out on seeing all the animals. We spotted a baby viper, as well as two larger vipers from a safe distance. Additionally, we saw a sloth, two large iguanas, lizards, and several huge locusts. The guide's fee was a bit expensive at $30 USD per person. The trail itself is beautiful, and maybe if we had visited on a different day or at a different time, we could have seen the animals on our own. However, that wasn't the case for us. If you prefer a longer hike, King can drop you off further away. But we opted for a shorter walk.
The beach is a fantastic and affordable National Park. It's advisable to enter through the village entrance because you can spot animals and experience the rainforest right away. However, be cautious when crossing rivers as there are crocodiles present. The main entrance fee is $5 per person, but at the village entrance, you can make a voluntary donation. With the help of our guide, we were able to discover an array of wildlife including snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, toucans, and many more fascinating creatures.
The park is absolutely stunning, featuring a 4km path that typically takes around 2 to 4 hours to finish, depending on how often you pause and your walking speed. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across numerous breathtaking beaches in the latter half. I would suggest avoiding visiting on rainy days, as it tends to get quite muddy and the sea loses its vibrant turquoise color.
This place is absolutely stunning. When you turn left, you are greeted by the breathtaking view of the ocean, and when you turn right, you can hear the vibrant sounds of the forest. The only downside is that they close around 2:30 pm, which was a bit inconvenient for me as I was only halfway through. The next day, when I returned, I encountered a massive river with brownish water that I had to cross. It appeared quite deep, so I decided not to risk it and couldn't complete the trail. Additionally, there is a suggested donation of around $5, although it is not mandatory. Fortunately, one of the park rangers kindly pointed out the location of a sloth for me. On my way back, I unexpectedly stumbled upon the most adorable sloth without the assistance of a tour guide. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I had the opportunity to observe numerous animals, including raccoons, butterflies, monkeys, but the highlight was definitely the sloths!
