This beach is an absolute gem, with breathtaking views of the sea and the horizon beyond. At the far end, you can spot the Lobo's Island and the towering peaks of Fuerteventura, a sight that you won't find anywhere else. The beach is situated at the southern tip of Lanzarote, adding to its uniqueness. The elevation of the beach makes the view even more spectacular. There are plenty of beach bars and restaurants around, making it the perfect place to spend your day. ⛱️🏖️
I absolutely love the beach in Lanzarote. It's not as peaceful as Playa Flamingo, but it still has all the same amenities like restaurants, bars, and public toilets. The water is crystal clear, making it a great swimming spot. Plus, it's the only beach in Playa Blanca that offers chairs for rent if that's something you're interested in.
Great and close to our hotel. You can rent out sun loungers and umbrellas for 4 euros each. The water is a stunning blue and it's safe to swim; there's even a rocky island if you're feeling adventurous, although it's a bit slippery. There's a waterworks area as well as lifeguards. To top it off, the Playa Dorada restaurant/café is right above it.
Playa Dorada Beach in Playa Blanca city was simply stunning! The sea was a beautiful colour, but unfortunately the water was too cold for swimming. If you want to get a better idea of what it looks like in person, check out my youtube channel Big Joe Cheap Travels. Plus, it's easy to get to - no need to worry about accessibility!
Most of us come to Lanzarote for the pleasant weather and stunning beaches, and this one is no exception. It's an artificial bay surrounded by high rock walls on three sides that shield you from the wind and make it a safe place to swim. The sand is soft and white, and the water is a beautiful turquoise - it's like a slice of paradise. There are several shops, bars, and even water sports nearby, and if you're driving, there's plenty of free parking a few minutes away from the beach. At the moment, due to Covid, there aren't as many visitors, so there's lots of space - but I'm sure it can get quite crowded in more normal times.
