Helena - all beaches

This beach is straightforward and well-maintained. It's perfect for enjoying picnics and taking a refreshing swim, especially in the summer (although it was a bit chilly when we visited). The water was remarkably clear, which was a pleasant surprise. There were plenty of seagulls wandering around the beach, and there's even a playground for children. Additionally, there's a small eatery where you can grab snacks, as well as several picnic tables. The pier is quite long and offers a better view of the charming little lighthouse. As you walk down the pier, you'll notice many people fishing, and there are plenty of seats available. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the view is absolutely stunning.

This beach is a fantastic spot for a clean picnic, offering some lovely views. However, it's worth noting that most of the tables overlook the road and agricultural landscape, rather than the lake. The restroom facilities are quite basic.
