No matter where you park, you'll find all the necessary facilities just a few steps away. From an on-site cafe to ice cream shops and souvenir stores, everything is within reach. The lifeguards are incredibly helpful and always on patrol, providing updates and safety announcements to ensure everyone's well-being. The beach can get crowded at times, and it's not uncommon for people to set up camp right beside you, but that's just part of the experience. The scenery is breathtaking, and the beach has a shallow shoreline that's perfect for kids to play in when the tide is in. Stick to the safety flags and follow standard safety measures, and you'll have a great time with the lifeguards keeping a watchful eye. Take a short stroll to the sailing club, and you'll find a fantastic crabbing pool. Drop in some smoked bacon, and you'll almost always catch something. It's a great activity for kids and a fun way to spend the day. My wife absolutely adores this beach, and it's easy to see why.

We had a great time at the amusement arcade on the pier that overlooks the beach. The person in charge was really friendly and laid-back when it came to handling the tickets and prizes, which the kids absolutely loved. They even mentioned that compared to other arcades, the prizes were better in terms of the number of tickets we earned. It's worth noting that the 'Quik Drop' machine was a big hit among those with quick reflexes, as it gave out a lot of tickets. Although the arcade could use a bit of cleaning, we understand that it was a busy bank holiday at a popular seaside destination. All in all, it's a fantastic place to have some fun and try your luck at winning awesome prizes!

This place is simply amazing! We can't resist coming back here every chance we get. When the tide recedes, taking a leisurely stroll along the beach to West Witterings is an absolute delight. Even when the tide is in, walking along the top is just as enjoyable. The beach offers breathtaking views of Portsmouth and the Isle of White, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

The pebbly beach is really nice. This section of the beach is open to dogs all year round. It's not crowded at all. There's a café nearby. It's a good idea to bring some shoes because the pebbles can be painful to walk on.
