We embarked on a delightful ferry ride from the Dalyan town port, although there is also a crossing available near the lake's mouth north of Dalyan. Traveling on a moped was a wise choice, as the journey on foot would have been too arduous. Following the signs to Kaunos, we discovered an incredible Roman Empire site, complete with a stunning Amphitheatre and breathtaking views. Continuing on our journey, we made our way to Sultaniye, located on the serene lake shore. We stopped for a delectable lunch at a charming campsite with a restaurant, surrounded by picturesque scenery. Our next destination was Ekincik, a stunning bay with a shaded eating area that offered excellent prices. The ride through the hills was a true delight, with well-maintained roads and minimal traffic.

This place is simply breathtaking. The beach is beautiful with its soft sand and the views are absolutely amazing. They have convenient parking and excellent facilities, including a beach bar/restaurant, changing rooms, and restrooms. Additionally, there is a turtle rescue on the premises that is definitely worth checking out, and the best part is that it's free. It took us around 90 minutes to drive here from Marmaris, but it was definitely worth the journey.

This public beach is absolutely amazing! It surpasses even the pricey beach clubs. Managed by the Ortaca Council, you can enjoy one parasol and two sunbeds with cushions for just 30 lira. Additionally, there are four changing cabins, four showers, and a wonderfully affordable restaurant. The restaurant offers a chicken doner for 15 lira, a beef doner for 17 lira, French fries for 15 lira, kofte for 18 lira, and fresh pomegranate juice for only 10 lira.

Upon reading some reviews, I was a bit hesitant about visiting this beach. However, I decided to take a taxi from town and was pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking scenery along the way. The journey was filled with stunning views of a large lake and fields of vibrant sunflowers. The descent down winding roads was truly awe-inspiring. Upon arriving at the beach, I was greeted by a beautiful bay that left me speechless. The sun loungers were reasonably priced, and the cafe was a great spot to grab a bite to eat. Additionally, the changing rooms and WC were clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience at this beach was nothing short of amazing. The natural beauty of the surrounding area combined with the excellent amenities made for a truly unforgettable day. I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day out.

During our visit to the beach, we were fortunate to have gone during a peaceful time. However, getting there required a lengthy drive on an unpaved road. Although the sea was refreshing, it was quite chilly during the month of May. Despite this, the beach itself was pristine and the vastness of the open sea was a sight to behold. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
