The entryway was poorly installed, and to make matters worse, the employee insisted on cash payment only and refused to accept cards. Be cautious.
The village authorities take good care of the area. The café offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The beach is well-maintained and tidy. Numerous fascinating trees have been planted, with some of them labeled to indicate their species. The ocean floor is entirely sandy, without any stones. In the mornings, the water is calm and perfect for children, as it is shallow. The entrance fee to the beach area is 15 lira (starting from autumn 2023). However, I was not fond of the way the pheasants are kept on the premises. The birds appear sluggish due to lack of movement, and their feathers seem unhealthy.
This place is truly amazing, as it marks the point where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea.
The beach is undeniably spacious and pleasant, offering convenient parking for restaurant-goers. Additionally, there are tables and benches available for those who bring their own food. The beach also provides restroom facilities and showers. Furthermore, there are swings and a nearby river for fishing, as well as a designated camping area.
This public beach is absolutely amazing! It surpasses even the pricey beach clubs. Managed by the Ortaca Council, you can enjoy one parasol and two sunbeds with cushions for just 30 lira. Additionally, there are four changing cabins, four showers, and a wonderfully affordable restaurant. The restaurant offers a chicken doner for 15 lira, a beef doner for 17 lira, French fries for 15 lira, kofte for 18 lira, and fresh pomegranate juice for only 10 lira.
