The beach is really nice and clean, and there aren't too many people around, so it's a great place to just unwind and relax.

Aguieira beach

The beach offers stunning vistas, tranquil waters, pristine sand, and is pleasantly uncrowded.

Praia de San Francisco

The beach was great for kids, with its fine sand and gentle waves. The scenery was wonderful and the grove at the entrance provided some much needed shade. We didn't visit during the summer months, so there were no lifeguards, but there was a beach bar on the promenade and a few bars/restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, some of the showers were not working. We'll definitely be back, although it can get quite crowded and stuffy when the tide comes in during the summer.

Hornanda beach

One of my favorite places, I have grown up here and even in high season when it is usually crowded with people from Santiago and tourists, it remains a peaceful and clean beach with a great atmosphere. It is protected from wind and strong currents, making it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Plus, it has gray fine pebbles that add to the charm of the place. If you're looking for a beach with fewer people, there are several coves nearby.

Coira beach

The beach is fantastic, it's never too crowded and it's just a 40-minute drive from Santiago.

Son beach

I wasn't a fan of the beach being close to the cemetery.
