The first few meters of the water are shallow, making it ideal for young children to splash around in. The parking is conveniently located just a five-minute walk away at Parkplatz Zentrum Kühlungsborn West. The public restrooms are clean and free of charge. You'll find a plethora of restaurants in the vicinity, as well as a kiosk selling refreshing beverages such as coffee, water, cola, and beer. Kuehlungsborn, the first place I ever laid eyes on the Baltic Sea, will always hold a special place in my heart. Despite the changes in the shops and prices over the years, the magic of this beach remains. Don't let anyone tell you it's overcrowded - the beach is spacious enough to enjoy some privacy without feeling like sardines in a can. Plus, the waves are absolutely stunning - just make sure to watch out for their power. And if you're in the mood for a little indulgence, there's even a beach bar for you to sip on a cold beer or champagne. All in all, a clean and wonderful experience.
