This is a great park! We visited the beach on two different days, and it was clean and easy to access. Be aware that there are some steep inclines to climb up and down from the parking lot to the beach. There are clean restrooms and multiple food carts. The water is clear. There are lots of interesting rocks.

Wish there was more to do besides exploring the back and up the sand dunes hill since it’s what I do every visit aha. Prefer when it’s packed makes the place feel more welcoming! Lots to do tho around as group.Be ready for an exercise going up!😂

Great place for a beach, a dip in the water or climbing on dunes! Can hike from the campsite to the beach quite easily. Lots of things for kids to do and see - if your kids like to explore nature and be creative, possibilities are endless! Dogs are allowed in some places (on leash, of course). Beach can be very very busy during certain times (summer) so beware of that! But it's still doable, even with the crowds!

Trailhead is marked inside the camping area making it easy to find. Signage along the trail is also good, clear. I like that its a longer trail, good for a workout. Its half woods, half dunes, pick your poison 😊

BEAUTIFUL!!! We went during early March when there wasn't many people around and wow I mean wow the dunes were so beautiful and the views oh my lord it's incredible. The hikes are brutal though and not for the faint of heart! Even during a cold March day we had to drink lots of water so be careful.
