The experience at the beach was fantastic and provided a wonderful view of Lake Tahoe. However, the strong diesel fuel odor from the boat engine made it necessary for us to sit outside for some relief. I was disappointed that there were no t-shirts available featuring the Lake Tahoe & Serenity Cruise. Despite these minor issues, we still had a great time.
It's a pretty good spot to hang out on the weekends or after work. The beach isn't huge, but it does have sand. Parking costs $12 and pets are not allowed.
This resort in Lake Tahoe is hands down the best I've been to. The sunset views are fantastic, the beach is great, and the amenities are clean. The Mahi Mahi tacos tasted like the best chicken, but healthier and more delicious. The Pineapple Macadamia Shrimp was phenomenal. You first taste the sweetness of the pineapple, followed by a slowly overriding meaty, sour shrimp crunch. The Mahi Mahi salad was fresh and balanced. I paired it with garlic fries that were just right - not too heavy or too light. The ranch and avocado sauce complemented it well. The cheese pizza was also fresh and yummy. We all ordered Arnold Palmers for drinks, and they were spot-on. I got a large one and continued to drink it even after our hike. The quick delivery and amazing service were the cherry on top of the amazing food
This was my first time visiting a beach at Lake Tahoe, and I was excited to compare it to the Great Lakes I grew up swimming in back in Michigan. I met some coworkers there on a Saturday morning, starting at 9am. I arrived at 9:22 and all the parking spots were taken, which was frustrating. I ended up parking up the road and walking through the wooded area to reach the beach, which was extremely crowded. This was a different experience for me, as I'm used to more space at the beach back in the Midwest. The sand was rough compared to Lake Michigan, giving my feet a natural exfoliation. There's a bar/restaurant with a signature drink called the Pain Killer, which was tasty but pricey. Parking and space for beach blankets are limited, so arriving early is essential for a good spot. The views and water at Lake Tahoe were beautiful, and the water was cool but not as cold as Lake Superior. Overall, the crowded and chaotic atmosphere was not my ideal beach day, so I probably won't be returning.
Wow! This place has really improved. They have a lovely dining area, bar, and walkway made of pavers. The beach is clean and the water is stunning. They offer a full dock with jet skis, boats, kayaks, and paddle boards for rent. It's a great family-friendly resort beach.
