Kahana Bay Beach Park is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 165th place out of 282 beaches in the Hawaii region 27.9 km away from its center, the city of Honolulu. It is one of the beaches of Kaaawa settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

The beach boasts stunning scenery and is pleasantly uncrowded. As a public beach, visitors can enjoy free parking, a picnic area, and access to a porto potty. The beach itself is long and adorned with lovely, soft sand, making it an ideal spot for swimming. Safety seems to be a top priority here. Additionally, the parking lot is home to a charming flock of chickens and roosters who eagerly await treats from visitors.
