It's an ideal spot for families to spend quality time together and create unforgettable memories.
The expansive shoreline was a sight to behold, with its stunning natural beauty leaving me in awe. Despite the constant rain that accompanied my visit to Washington, it only served to add a unique charm to the photographs I took. I couldn't help but imagine the endless possibilities of a return trip, with the potential for an entirely new adventure. However, I must admit that the rocky terrain of the beach may not be the most enjoyable during the warmer months. It's best to come prepared with comfortable footwear for a more relaxed experience.
I have been fortunate enough to visit some of the world's most breathtaking natural wonders, and I can confidently say that this beach is among the most exceptional. It rivals even the iconic Grand Canyon in its beauty and majesty. The path leading down to the beach is a short and well-maintained stroll of less than a quarter mile, making it easily accessible to all. Even on a busy Friday afternoon, there was ample parking available. During our stay in Ocean Shores, we took a scenic 90-minute drive north to Ruby Beach. Along the way, we stopped at the Kalaloch Lodge, which offered stunning photo opportunities. The convenience store there had a wide selection of delicious lunch options, and we were able to enjoy our meal at one of the many picnic tables. To top it all off, the coffee was excellent.
Located in WA, this beach is a true gem that is worth the journey. Known for its photogenic qualities, this beach offers an array of natural beauty that is simply breathtaking. The descent to the beach from the parking lot is effortless, and once you arrive, you will be greeted by an abundance of tidal pools, driftwood, and rocky formations. This picturesque setting provides endless opportunities for capturing stunning photographs. Alternatively, you can simply relax and revel in the awe-inspiring views that surround you.
Ruby Beach is easily accessible and today was a great day to visit. The weather was perfect with plenty of sunshine and there were only about 12 visitors. If possible, try to visit on a weekday.
