The beach is an enjoyable destination with a centralized point of access. Visitors can gather in one location and enjoy the scenery, which includes a vast sand dune surrounded by trees, rocks, and cliffs. Climbing up the dune is a must-do activity as it offers a breathtaking view. The beach also features lovely tide pools at the base of the cape. For food options, the Pelican Brew Pub and the new burrito place on the corner are highly recommended. Surfing and wet suit rentals are available at Moments, making it an ideal spot to burn some calories and have some fun. Overall, the beach is a fantastic place to spend a day.
The breathtaking scenery from the dune and cliffs is truly remarkable. However, I would give it four stars due to the limited parking space and the recent parking fee implementation. The beach tends to get crowded on weekends, but it's a peaceful retreat on weekdays.
I must say, this beach in Oregon is truly one of the most stunning ones I've ever seen! Although it was quite crowded on Memorial Day morning and afternoon, once everyone left, it felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. The sand dunes provided an extra element of adventure and exercise, but the breathtaking views made it all worth it!
I visited the beach on a sunny day, a few weeks after Mother's Day. It was a breathtaking sight to behold and a perfect spot for a family hike. However, there were some areas marked as dangerous, so it's important to keep an eye on the tide. Additionally, the trails are elevated, so safety should be a top priority. After the long hike, the food available next to the beach was a special treat. Overall, it was a memorable experience.
The beach is absolutely stunning! 🏖 The panoramic view from atop the sand dune is simply breathtaking and definitely worth the effort it takes to climb up there. Although parking can be a bit of a challenge on weekends, it's a small price to pay for such a gorgeous destination.
