The shoreline near my residence is a tranquil haven, with significantly fewer people compared to the bustling Boardwalk. The State Park authorities are vigilant in their patrols, ensuring that fires are contained within rings to prevent accidental burns, and pets are kept on a leash to maintain safety and harmony among all visitors. As a result, everyone can relish the serene ambiance and soak in the beauty of the beach without any disturbance.
This stunning beach is an ideal destination for pet owners seeking a relaxing getaway. During the weekdays, the beach is not overly crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy the serene surroundings in peace. However, the parking facilities are limited, so it is advisable to arrive early to secure a spot.
If you're looking to ignite a blaze and enjoy a pleasant shoreline, this beach is a fine choice. The Western section of the beach features roughly 10 fire pits, making it an ideal spot for a cozy gathering with friends or family. During our visit in November, we arrived at 6 PM and found that half of the fire pits were still available. However, it's likely that during busier months, earlier arrival times are necessary to secure a spot. The residential area offers ample parking options and convenient bathroom facilities. Be aware that patrol cars make regular rounds and will confiscate any alcohol they find. Additionally, the beach closes at 10 PM, and those parked near the overlook will be ticketed.
As a frequent visitor, this beach holds a special place in my heart. The constantly changing shape of the river's mouth never fails to captivate me, and the massive heaps of driftwood that accumulate after intense storms provide a stunning visual spectacle. It's no wonder why this beach is my go-to destination for relaxation and natural beauty.
An idyllic location to simply observe the rhythmic ebb and flow of the ocean's waves.
