I am particularly fond of this beach, particularly during the early hours of the morning when the sun is just about to rise, casting a warm glow over the horizon that is tinged with shades of pink. It is truly a sight to behold and never fails to fill me with a sense of awe and wonder. ❤❤❤
This beach is a fantastic spot for kite flying enthusiasts. During low tide, the expansive shoreline provides ample space for launching your kite. If you visit on a weekday, you'll have no trouble finding a suitable spot to fly. While parking is available, it does come at a cost. The beach offers picturesque views of Lynn and Little Nahant Island. One of the unique features of this beach is the sight of planes making their descent to Logan Airport, flying directly over the beach. Additionally, you may spot surfers and kite surfers in the water, adding to the beach's lively atmosphere.
This Massachusetts beach is truly one of the best! The sand is finely textured and much less rocky than other nearby beaches. It's perfect for leisurely strolls and taking in the breathtaking views. There are several portable toilets available at the entrance areas for convenience. The $10 parking fee is definitely worth it, in my opinion. The beach is quite long, which helps to prevent overcrowding. Even on busy days, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax. And let's not forget the stunning drive across the bridge to get there - it's a sight to behold!
This stunning beach is conveniently located just a short 30-minute drive from Boston, offering spectacular views of the city skyline that will make you feel right at home. While there is a small fee for parking, there are plenty of spaces available to ensure you can enjoy your day without any hassle. There is also a cozy restaurant on site where you can indulge in delicious pizza and refreshing drinks, although many visitors opt to bring their own food and beverages. The water is crystal clear and you can wade out quite far before it reaches waist-deep, even if you're petite like me at 5'2. With ample shoreline to stretch out on and no sharks to worry about, you can soak up the sun and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. This spot is a must-visit for locals looking for a perfect beach day getaway.
The beach is truly stunning with crystal clear waters and a vast expanse of yellow sand. We were able to wade out quite far into the sea at waist height, which was a wonderful experience. However, it would have been great if there were washing facilities nearby as we had to pay $10 for a public shower that was only available every few miles. It would have been more convenient if there were more accessible options.
