It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The coastal region of New Jersey has a rich history, dating back to the time of the Lenape tribes. These Native Americans were the first inhabitants of the area, and they established permanent settlements on the mainland while building seasonal homes along the coast. During the summer months, the Lenape would engage in various activities such as hunting waterfowl and shorebirds, fishing, crabbing, collecting shells for wampum production, gathering eggs, and trapping turtles and muskrats. However, the Lenape settlements were eventually removed from New Jersey in 1758. Despite this, the legacy of the Lenape people lives on, and their connection to the land and sea is still felt today.
